How long will it take to receive my order?
Standard Shipping: 5 - 7 Business Days
Store Pick-Up: 2 - 7 Business Days
 
Note: Shipping times to remote areas such as the Yukon, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories is dependent on the delivery standards of Canada Post or your preferred courier.
 
How do I modify/cancel my order?
Unfortunately, once you submit your order, it cannot be modified or cancelled. If you are unhappy with your order after your item arrives, you have the option of returning your item to any House of Knives store in person, by Canada Post or by your preferred courier. See our return and exchange policy for further details.

How do I track my order? 
An email will be sent to you once your order has been shipped. If you did not receive an email you can visit www.houseofknives.ca/Track-My-Order to find out the status of your order. 
 
Can I pick-up my order at a House of Knives store?
Absolutely! In the check-out process select 'Pick up at Store' and choose your preferred store from any of our 14 convenient locations.
 
Can I place an order if I live outside of Canada?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to take orders outside of Canada. Please check back as we may be offering this service in the future.
 
What do I need to bring with me when I choose the 'Pick Up at Store' option?
You will be notified by email when your order is ready to be picked up at your specified location. To pick up your merchandise at one of our House of Knives store locations, you will need to present a valid piece of picture ID (Driver's License, etc.) and your confirmation of purchase (i.e., a printout of your order confirmation email).
 
If you are picking up an item that was purchased for you as a gift, you will be requested to present picture ID and the ID must match the name listed as the recipient of the gift. Note: Your order will remain at your preferred store location for a maximum of 30 days before getting shipped back to the House of Knives processing centre.

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?
Go to 'My Account' and then 'Forget your password?'. Make sure to check your junk mail folder and to save BandEdge@houseofknives.ca to your email list.
 
I need to change the email on my account, how do I do this?
Log in with your original email and password. Click 'Manage my account' and from there you will be able to change your email address. If this doesn't work, please contact service@houseofknives.ca.
 
Gifts and Gift Cards

Can I purchase a Gift Card online?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service at this time. Please check back as we may be offering this service in the future.
 
How do I obtain a gift receipt?
When checking out with your items click on 'Is this item a gift?' box. This will ensure a gift receipt is included with your product when it is sent. If the item is sent to a different shipping address, the product and the gift receipt will be sent to the customer at the shipping address and the original bill will be sent to the billing address.
 
Can I use my Gift Card online?
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase products on our House of Knives website at this time and are only valid at stores. Please check back as we may be offering this service in the future.
 
What is my gift card balance?
Please contact service@houseofknives.ca or visit a House of Knives store to get your gift card balance.
 
I lost my gift card. Can I get it replaced?
Unfortunately, gift cards are treated like cash and, once lost, are difficult to replace. However, if you have lost your gift card, you can contact us at service@houseofknives.ca and if you can provide us with the transaction number from the original receipt used to purchase the gift card, and if the gift card hasn't been redeemed, we may be able to cancel the missing gift card and issue a new one.
 
Can I purchase a gift for another person and have it shipped to his or her address?
Yes! Select 'Ship order' and insert the person's information instead of your own. In the billing information window, please make sure to put in your own information.

How do I return or exchange an order?

What payment methods can I use?
For your convenience we accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

Will I be charged taxes on my order?
You will be charged the provincial and federal sales taxes for the province the item is being shipped to. If you choose to return any of your items, you will be refunded all taxes paid.

Out of Stock Items and Special Requests

This item is out of stock. When will it be back in stock?
Sometimes items are backordered because of high demand, production delays, etc.. If your item is out of stock, please send us an email at service@houseofknives.ca and we will send you an email as soon as the item is back in stock.
